Attorney Benjamin R. Wood
Benjamin R. Wood is a general practitioner practicing law in his hometown of Fennimore, Wisconsin and representing his home county, Grant County, Wisconsin. Attorney Wood also has the privilege of representing the City of Boscobel, Wisconsin as City Attorney and many local townships within Grant County.
Attorney Wood has experience in simple wills up to very complicated trusts. He has helped many people in Southwest Wisconsin preserve assets they have worked their entire lives to ensure a legacy for their families.
Attorney Wood has successfully probated estates from a very simplistic to the very complicated. He has formed LLCs, defended families in LLC disputes, transferred farms, and handled commercial and residential real estate transactions. Attorney Wood has also defended his clients in court trials and jury trials.
Non-Legal Experience: Attorney Wood had the pleasure of being an adjunct professor at Southwest Technical College teaching Legal Aspects of Agribusiness. He also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Wisconsin Platteville. He taught American Government. He also has taught the Jailer Academy class at Southwest Technical College, specifically the section on Correctional Law.
Education: Attorney Wood received his Juris Doctrate from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Before going to Law School, he received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
Family: Attorney Wood is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Trish. They have three daughters and one son.
Hobbies: Attorney Wood loves all Wisconsin sports teams. He is an avid duck hunter and spends many Fall days in the swamp. He also enjoys spending time with his family.
