Corporation Counsel

Wood Law Firm, LLC is the current Corporation Counsel for Grant County, Wisconsin. Corporation Counsel means that Wood Law Firm handles all civil matters for the County. Civil matters include guardianships/protective placements, mental commitments, prosecution of ordinances, drafting ordinances, working with all department heads and giving legal advice and representing the child support agency. Further, Attorney Benjamin R. Wood is the parliamentarian at County Board Meetings and gives legal advice to the County Board of Supervisors.
